These batteries are rated on the energy they will deliver at a constant current over 20 hours. If you plan to draw more than 20 amps continously it is more cost effective to use this battery rather than a car or leisure battery. At a high current a car battery will deliver less than 40% of their rated (20 hour) capacity, and have a short life. This is the ideal battery to run the lights and fridge in a boat or caravan, or store power from a Solar Panel.
