Can be wired to control several lights or operations, up the 1000w total. If the load is reactive (electric motor) -- 700w max. Avoid directing the sensor at trees that move in the wind. PIRs detect movement accross the beam better than moving towards the sensor. Direct the beam low to pick up pets or high to avoid them.

This PIR works very well controlling lights in small rooms or cupboards. Direction is not very important as the disturbance of the door opening is enough to trigger the switch &,of course, the light automatically switches off.
These PIR sensors detect movement within their range and direction capabilities.
